I have made a few new decks and will continue making more through the rest of the week. Dite, our new card maker helper will also be making a few new decks. Ive been updating some games and activities. I think I just need to make a few more decks and make a new layout and we will be back from hiatus. I'd say, expect us to be back and have a full update next Friday!

I am slowly getting back into Playlist. I have made some new decks, in the process of getting some staff you help out, updating some things... its coming along. Hopefully we will be off of hiatus soon. I dont want to give a date just in case it doesnt happen but hopefully it will be soon.

I have decided to extend Playlist's hiatus. I want to wait until I have the time to make card decks. Our recital is next Saturday, after that I have 3 weeks of working 2 days a week and trying to rush some choreography so for at least the first week after the recital, I will be fairly busy still. I may decide to make it sooner but for now its looking like the first week of July to come back from hiatus. I hope everyone is ok with that.

Today is my birthday! Everyone may take 1 #11 card of choice because its the 11th of May, 1 #2 and 1 #5 cards of choice because I am 25 years old today and 1 card of choice with a green border because my birthstone is emerald!

Also, I have decided to put Playlist on a short hiatus. This month will be pretty busy for me with work and I dont think I will have the proper amount of time to dedicate to Playlist. During the hiatus, I will still check e-mails and send out rewards. I will also post some freebies every week here in the updates. I just wont be doing full updates with games, new card decks, etc... I hope everyone understands. The hiatus shouldnt be any longer then the month of May. I am not working very much in June through August ao I will have plenty of time to catch up from the hiatus.

I am sorry that I didnt update the games this week. With everything that went on over the weekend, it made me really far behind the rest of the week and I still am actually. One of the programs I use to make cards just did something weird to the cards I recently made. Now that I cannot make my cards that way anymore because my program is acting stupid, I had to delete the 5 decks I recently made and have to edit the way I can make future ones. That is going to take some time for me to fix it. Because of that, I cannot update any games this week. But if you notice, I did still add double the new decks like I said I would. This week has been very stressful with work and I am sick with a cold. I hope everyone can understand.

Please read the update below before your read this one if you havent already...

So last night I made the decision that I didnt want to put my cat Whispers through any more time of being miserable. We put her to sleep this morning. I have been crying all day and I dont see it stopping anytime soon especially not tomarrow. I wanted to get on here and post this update to let everyone know that Playlist will not be coming back from hiatus this week as anticipated. I am sure that everyone understands. I am only taking the time to post this to hopefully take my mind off of everything. Not sure exactly now when Playlist will be coming back from hiatus but I promise it eventually will and soon.

Ok, so. I have a lot going on over the past month that has delayed me from updating any of my sites a lot. I have had some time here and there but not enough to really do a good update on here. I really want to bring Playlist back from Hiatus and since I have a break off of work for the next 4 days, it might happen now. We will see I guess. Just keep checking back to see if I update.

Besides working a lot, I have had some major family problems, and my cat Whispers has had a cancer grow in her face rather rapidly and Im going to have to put her to sleep in the next few weeks and they all have been taking a lot out of me. And on top of all that, I had a bad cold twice in the past month. Today was the first day I have ever EVER missed teaching a class from being sick. Fortunately I was only subbing today and it wasnt any of my regular classes.

I have some really good news ..... since my computer crashed, I had gotten everything back up on my new computer except the program that I use to add the numbers to the cards. I couldnt find the cd anywhere. Well, turns out my sister had it. I have the program back and its on my new computer so I can finish up all the cards sets I have made while on hiatus. Which means ..... Playlist will be off of hiatus back up to fully running soon! Everyone can take 1 regular card of choice for each of the following letters U - L - E - A - D . Thats 5 cards but remember, the file name must contain the letter. (Ulead is the program I use btw)

OMG. If any of you watched the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, you'll know what I'm about to get at. Kanye West is such an a$$ ho!e. Sorry for my language but he is and I just had to put that out there. I cannot believe what he did and I really dont care that he has appologized for it 100 times already. That was so completely rude and and no one should get away with that. I am refusing to add any of his music videos to Playlist. I'm sorry if any members have a problem with that but I just cant do it. I even replaced his card in the cameos deck.

Anyone who has cameos19 already may replace it with the new card. If you do not have it, Im sorry but you dont get to take it. The first member to post in the comments who is featured in the new card and the artist and title of the music video will receive a special reward package.
I dont really like Taylor Swift's music but I felt so bad and embarassed for her. Everyone may take 1 regular Taylor Swift card of choice and because Beyonce was so gracious and classy about the whole thing everyone may take 1 regular Beyonce card of choice.

I have feared the worst. I have everything working again with my computer and for the site but I have just started back to work this past week and I am feeling very overwhelmed. I have decided to Playlist on a semi-hiatus. I am sorry if this makes any of our members unhappy but I hope you can understand. I am working a lot more this year then I did last year and I have a whole new beginner group of girls to add to my frustration.

The forums will continue to be updated regularly (staff, i will send out your rewards either later today or tomorrow) and I will still post some things here and there for updates. So basically, the only thing that will change with this hiatus is that there will be no on site game updates unless I find the time and no new decks. I will however keep making new decks so that when we do come back from hiatus, I will have tons lined up to be added.

Make sure you keep checking back here for updates. Every so often I might just come on here to post some freebies and other things. I am not sure how long this hiatus will last, hopefully not too long and hopefully we do not lose any members because of it.

..... Uh. When I transfered everything over to my computer, I dont remember my password to be able to get into the ftp to upload to the site. I thought I knew it but I dont. Either that or there is a problem with the site for me to be able to logon. I am waiting for a reply from my host. Bad news, I am very sad to say that my desktop computer got a virus. I dont know how I got it but it did. Stupid virus. I am currently transfering over my files from my bad computer to my moms computer until I get a new one. Good news, I went out and bought a brand new laptop today. So, I will not be able to do an update this week because i have to get everything setup and transfered please get and download everything I lost but I should be able to make one next week.

It is so sad to hear the news about Michael Jackson. He is by far the biggest thing in the music video industry. Without him, music videos would certainly not be as popular today. So I must say that Playlist would not be possible without him. I decided instead of adding new decks today that we would get some freebies to celebrate Michael Jackson. I am really sorry I am not able to do a proper update this weekend. My dance studio's annual recital was yesterday and I spent all week preparing for it so I didnt get a chance to make more card sets. The only card sets I have made right now are from artists that I have added recently and I want some variety.

I thought since no one has purchased anything in the shop yet, now would be a good time to change it. I have added a few more currencies and a new game / collecting challenge of sorts. The rewards for the currencies have changed as well there is now a camera and record to win in game prizes. Here is the changes...
Camera = = 1 Random Regular Worth 1
Film Strip = = 1 Regular Worth 1 of Choice
Record = = 1 Special Worth 2 of Choice
Video Ipod = = 1 Special Worth 3 of Choice
CD = = 1 Album of Choice

The new game / collecting challenge is the Albums that you can purchase. Go HERE to view for information about the Albums. Every so often new albums will be added and some albums will be removed for being available for purchase. For every 15 albums you collect, its like mastering a regular set. Please go HERE for the shop rules.

Everyone may take 3 albums from the album randomizer located HERE. There are albums that you can get from the ranomizer that are not available for purchase yet. Keep that in mind.

Just a reminder about some of the Activites & Games in the forum that we still need some member participation in so we can start some new rounds. Complete The Set only needs one more card. incomplete07. If you have this card, please send it in. I wasnt going to open Card Claim (Anna) until the card from Card Claim (Becca) were gone but it seems they are not going too fast. I opened Card Claim (Anna) anyway but please claim the cards from Card Claim (Becca). We still have Card Claim (Emily) that can be added. We only need one more to finish Members Favorite. Please post yours. And, please get a Member Card. There is enough right now that members can master the deck but some of the members have left Playlist so their member cards are no longer available to get.
